Dallas Bound in May

I will be returnig to Dallas on May 30th instead of the previously planned June 20th. My assignment here ends on May 31st and I'm told by my company that if I extend my assignment beyond 12 months, then I'll have to include the expenses covered by my company here in my US income and pay taxes on those expenses. It's not worth it to me to stay in China for an additional 3 weeks. So we'll be back on Friday, May 30th, at 9:45pm.

I am happy to be getting back sooner rather than later. Sydney's 2nd birthday is on May 30th so it will be nice to celebrate it with all of you. And I'll be glad to back in civilization again. There's a bit of logistics to work out in the next 2 months since my tenants will be in my house until the end of June. I've put Sydney on wait lists at daycares in Dallas for July and have contacted those daycares to move up the start date to June. I'm waiting to hear back from them. It will all work out and I'll be able to do laundry in one load again.
