And it was taking too long to get her hair up in pony tails and clipped in the morning because she won't sit still. And when I finally get her primped to go, she'll pull out her hairclip and we have to go through the process again.
I thought about taking her to a hair salon to get it done, but I only know of one place in a mall and it is a nightmare to go on the weekends due to the crowds. I got my haircut there on a weekday and it was still a 45 minute wait. Plus I doubt that Sydney would be cooperative with a stranger.
The haircut was a nightmare. I couldn't get her to sit still, and when she did sit still, she wanted to play with the comb or the scissors. It took about a dozen tries over a 2 hour period to just get her bangs cut. There is hair everywhere in the apartment as I had to chase her from room to room. As you can see below, this was not one of our better bonding moments.
But we did manage to get the bangs done. I didn't have the energy to tackle the back of her hair so it will have to wait for another day.
The final product isn't great, but now she can see and we can dispense of the hairclips (at least for now).

I think the hair cut is cute!
You mention that it is raining a lot. Does Southern China have a rainy season?
Let your freak flag fly! No haircuts. Most women find Cousin It strangely attractive.
