A Year Ago Today
I adopted Sydney exactly a year ago today. It's funny that I haven't thought about the adoption ceremony at all in the past year, but I woke up this morning remembering every detail about it. I've been teary-eyed on and off all day, as I am now. I wanted to share these pictures with you.

I hope that you great adventure is very fun!! You look like your having a great time! I just wanted to email and let you know that I am teary-eyed right along with you. You know if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have had the courage to switch agencies. Your posts on the chat group and willingness to talk to us about your adoption helped make our decision. So I am very grateful to you!! Kiana turned 1 year on Aug. 3rd and our adoption date is quickly approaching too! Sydney is such a beautiful little girl and I would hope that she and Kiana could meet someday! For now, we will keep in touch by email though!

I love that baby burrito photo of Sydney. But I love even more how she has grown and thrived with all of your great love and parenting and attention. You are both lucky girls!
I can't beleive it's been a year! It seems now like she has always been a part of our family. She's an absolute delight! We miss you both so much but we'll be there in 4 months.
